The February 10, 2009 deadline set by The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) for the stringent testing of Lead Content and Phthalates in all Toy/Children’s Products has now been postponed for a year until February 10, 2010.
However, despite the revised deadline, we are pleased to announce that we have received certificates of compliance from the following companies and following products:
Buggy Bagg
BeBe Au Lait
Shady Baby
Baby K'Tan
Belle Baby Carriers
Updates to this list will be provided as we receive notification of certification. In addition, all CPSIA compliant products will be noted on our website in the next few weeks.

What Is The CPSIA?
The CPSIA is a new law which has created a stringent set of guidelines relating to products used for children under the age of 12. The CPSIA is a very complex law, and understanding it can be a daunting task. Aside from children's products, the CPSIA covers merchandise and products in many categories. The legislation is to take effect February 10, 2009 (now has been postponed to February 10, 2010.)
